Cruising to Desolation Sound (Hardcopy)

This guide will give you more than you expect. It covers all of the Sunshine Coast as well as Indian Arm, Howe Sound and Princess Louisa Inlet. Heavily illustrated with aerials, diagrams and colour photographs.

"Mariners have commented on the clarity of your book. It is well designed - succinct yet containing enough information to enable the boater to make wise cruising decisions."

- Ann Taylor, Greenway Sound

Third in the series of coffee table cruising guides, this book covers the Sunshine Coast from Indian Arm in Burrard Inlet to Howe Sound and on to Pender Harbour, Princess Louisa Inlet, Sechelt Inlet and Desolation Sound. It cruises through the Discovery islands to Campbell River and prompts the mariner on to places beyond. Full colour illustrations are complemented with informative and instructive text as well as historic notes, cautions and recommendations. It includes marine parks, anchorages, waterways and marinas.

Thank you for producing such an extensive set of information. I just came back from two weeks where we went partially up the Sunshine Coast to Pender Harbour, Agamemnon Channel almost to Malibu (and Princess Louisa) but were running low on fuel and had to turn back to Egmont. Then over to Lasqueti, Hornby, French Creek, Chamainus, Nanaimo, downtown Victoria and back to False Creek. Weather was good and we had some adventurous waves and swells but overall had a good time in our 27 footer. We travelled with a friend who lives on his boat in False Creek and he was using an older version of your Docks and Destinations. He was very helpful for our travels so we gave him our new edition that we got from you. Hence my email asking for you to send me another copy of “Docks and Destinations”
